The Haefely 9230 high voltage capacitor consists of a modular HV capacitor with appropriate coupling impedance fitted in for partial discharge measurements.The high voltage capacitor is a part of the partial discharge measuring circuit. A closed loop for the high frequency PD signals is established between the test object and the coupling capacitor.
